Conference Baltic Windustry 2023
The Centre for Offshore Wind Energy of the Gdansk University of Technology in cooperation with the Polish Wind Energy Association was responsible for organising the event. The aim of the conference was to present and disseminate currently developing trends and new technologies in the offshore industry and to strengthen cooperation between the business and scientific communities.
Consulting
The consulting services for offshore wind offered by an Gdansk Tech provide valuable insights and recommendations to various stakeholders involved in offshore wind projects. Consulting services Gdansk Tech teams might offer:

Research
Research in wind energy is crucial for advancing the efficiency, sustainability, and integration of wind power into the energy mix. Offshore Wind Energy Center of Gdansk Tech (CMEW) adopts three main priority research lines:
1. Digitalization and machine learning (ML) techniques in wind energy
Lecture: Digitalisation and governance of wind energy: a call for interdisciplinary research and innovation.
Bio: Helena Solman is a Postdoctoral researcher at Environmental Policy Group, at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Her research focuses how digitalization shapes the transition towards wind energy. More specifically, her research shows how and to what extent digital technologies help to tackle a range of social, technical and environmental challenges for sustainable upscaling of wind power in both onshore and offshore landscapes.
